Information for network operators
The ONTRAS network is directly connected to over 60 network operators in Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland via its network connection points.
Ordering exit capacities internally
In the ONTRAS customer portal you have until 15 July of the current calendar year to submit your internal order for transport operations within the Trading Hub Europe market area for the next calendar year, as defined in Sections 13 and 14 of the Cooperation Agreement.
We will respond to your order within ten working days as stipulated in Section 11(4). If we accept the order, we will reserve the relevant capacity at the network interconnection point zones for this downstream network. If the customer portal is not available or you are not able to log in, a written internal order can also be submitted to ONTRAS in compliance with the relevant deadlines.
Biogas cost redistribution
As defined in the regulation on biogas cost redistribution in the Gas Network Charges Ordinance (Section 20b GasNEV), the costs for network connection and feeding-in biogas are redistributed throughout Germany.
The biogas entry network operators report the forecast biogas costs for the following year and the actual biogas costs for the previous year by 31 August each year directly to the transmission system operator of the network to which the network of the biogas entry network operator is either directly or indirectly connected across various network levels.
We have digitalized the biogas cost allocation process. Our customer portal is now available to you for the reporting. There you can enter your data for biogas cost allocation in accordance with Section 7 KoV. You will also receive an automated e-mail confirmation of the data entered. Your data is then displayed in the customer portal and can be viewed at any time. After your data has been checked, you will receive an e-mail confirmation of the monthly reimbursement amount for the following year at the beginning of October of the respective year, which will also be sent automatically via the customer portal.
